Rugby league legend Jim Mills is the guest speaker at a charity dinner at Greenmeadow Golf Club. All the money raised on the night will go the Welsh Charitables RFC Benevolent Fund who in the past have supported St Anne’s Hospice, WREX the Welsh Former International Players Benevolent Association, TY Hafan the family hospice for young lives, The Princes Trust Cymru, The Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust and St David’s Hospice Care. It’s on Friday 16 March and tickets are on sale now.

Jim’s career during the 1960s and 1970s saw him represent Cardiff, Halifax, Salford, Bradford Northern, North Sydney, Widnes, Workington, Wales and Great Britain. On the night the 6ft 4inch prop forward will be made an Honorary Vice President of the Welsh Charitables RFC.
