Residents in a Cwmbran street came to the aid of an ambulance that was blocked in by snow.
The ambulance was picking up a patient in Poppy Field Avenue in Llantarnam but the snow meant it could not drive safely down the street.
Residents spotted the problem at around midday on Saturday and came out with shovels and dug a route so the ambulance crew could do their job.
