A seven-year-old ice skater from Cwmbran has gained sponsorship deals in her second year of competing. Lily Grace Walding, a pupil at Croesyceiliog Primary School, took part in her first competition last year in London.
Lily is now sponsored by Two Birds London, an ice stating brand. Complete Bathrooms in Old Cwmbran sponsor her skates.
During April she competed in a beginners’ event at Lee Valley in the south east of England. She scored 16.12 can came second out of 15 skaters. In March she travelled to Bradford and entered two categories and came first and sixth.
Her skills on ice have been spotted and last weekend she was selected to be part of the Young Stars British Ice Skating Development Squad.
