The Post Office is asking for views on proposals to move the branch in Fairwater Shops to a new location.
The post office counter is currently in the newsagent- Fairwater Convenience Store- at 18 Fairwater Square. But if the move goes ahead the branch will have a new home inside the Premier store forty metres away.
Why may the branch move to a new home?
The consultation document says: “…in this case, the Postmaster has identified an opportunity to move this branch into their other convenience store nearby. Our Postmaster firmly believes that the move will help secure continued access to Post Office services locally, as well as supporting the viability of their business.”
