A business next to Aldi Cwmbran is showing solidarity for its neighbour’s fight with M&S.
M&S has announced it is taking legal action against Aldi’s as they feel the Cuthbert the Caterpillar cake is too similar to their own brand- Colin.
A #FreeCuthbert campaign launched with 1000s of funny memes appearing on social media to back the discount supermarket’s legal battle.
Customise ‘R’ Us , an embroidery and printing business, opened in Cwmbran in 2020. Their unit is opposite the exit to Aldi’s store on Woodside Road.
They have put up a large banner to back the #FreeCuthbert campaign on the side of their business. The show of support is in full view of car drivers as they leave the Aldi car park.
