Torfaen Leisure Trust has announced it’s installing new fitness equipment and facilities at Cwmbran Stadium and Pontypool Active Living Centre.
The trust is in a partnership with gym kit supplier Technogym. During December, a new state-of-the-art gym will open in Cwmbran and a group cycle studio will open in Pontypool.

Ben Jeffreys, Torfaen Leisure Trust chief executive officer, said: “We are hugely excited to have formed such a strong partnership with Technogym and our investment signifies the beginning of an exciting new era for Torfaen Leisure Trust. Over the past twelve months, we have made wholesale changes to how Torfaen Leisure Trust operates, including implementing new systems of obtaining and measuring feedback from our members.
“The feedback received clearly signalled the need to replace our ageing equipment and this announcement
demonstrates our commitment to absorbing that feedback and taking action to provide the best possible
experience to our members. We recognise there are many other aspects of our facilities which require investment, including new gym equipment for Pontypool Active Living Centre, but it is essential we manage our finite resources responsibly and that we make future investments as they become affordable.
“We are determined to make this ambition a reality at the earliest possible opportunity and our drive to maximise Torfaen Leisure Trust’s future potential is at the heart of everything we do as a team.”

Cwmbran Stadium and Pontypool Active Living Centre.”
