Santa is making a special visit to Torfaen this weekend. Families and children can follow his journey as he cruises on a boat along the canal from Pontymoile down to Five Locks in Cwmbran.
The Bridge 46 to Five Locks Canal Group have organised the free event on Saturday 2 December. He will arrive at Pontymoile Basin at 10am and set off on his boat at 11am. He expects to arrive at Five Locks at about 12.15pm. His visit to Cwmbran will end at around 1.30pm.
Members of the Black Crow Paddleboarding group have organised a fun social event at the same time and will follow Santa’s boat with many of them dressed as elves.
Cwmbran Brass Band and Pontnewydd Male Choir will perform during the event.
