The eight-week trial starts on Thursday 18 January from 5pm to 6pm at Cwmbran Stadium. It has been organised by Cwmbran Community Council and the class is being run by the Torfaen Sports Development team.

The sessions will be a mix of sports and fun games for all the family to take part in. All activities can be adapted to any ability and all ages are welcome.

Councillors at the events and community projects committee meeting on Monday 8 January were told that “around 25” people had shown interest in the class since it was first advertised.

In a social media post, the community council said “there are only a few spaces left” for the first class.
