A new event has started in Old Cwmbran to bring members of the community together.

The community connection cafe is on the second and fourth Monday of the month at the Salvation Army Hall on Wesley Street and runs from 12pm to 2pm. People who attend can enjoy a meal for £2 and have free hot drinks and biscuits. The volunteers who run the event also organise activities, board games, singing, dancing, crafts,  jigsaws, word searches and colouring. They also say it’s a place where you can enjoy a “good chat”.
