The Remembrance Sunday parade and service took place in Old Cwmbran this morning.
The group marched along Wesley Street to the sounds of a bagpiper and formed around the War Memorial in Cwmbran Park. Crowds stood inside the park and along Henllys Way to watch the service, prayers and laying of wreaths. The Last Post was played followed by a two-minute silence.
Cwmbran Salvation Army band played several songs including God Save the King and Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau. Members of the Celtic Wolves Motorcycle Club rode behind the parade as it walked back to St Gabriel’s Church.
