A much-loved equestrian group in Cwmbran is inviting past and present members to help celebrate its 40th anniversary this January.
Ceffyl Du RDA Driving Group, which meets at Greenmeadow Community Farm, will host a special event on Monday 19 January 2026 from 6pm at the Farmers Table cafe in the farm.
The evening will include a finger buffet, tea and coffee, and access to a bar.
Members of the group love the thrill of carriage driving. They get to take the reins of a pony and use their skills to control the carriage as it is pulled around a field. A volunteer sits with the member for safety reasons but the member is totally in control.
Organisers are keen to reconnect with former drivers, volunteers, and supporters who may not have received an invitation due to outdated contact details.
