Gwent Police are appealing for information after a bicycle was stolen from a garden.

The theft took place in the early hours of Friday 12 June in the Wainfelin area of Pontypool.

The householder’s doorbell footage recorded the incident in King Street at about 5.40am as the Saracen Rufftrax bike was taken from the garden.

A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: “We have had a report of a bike theft from the garden at about 5.40am on 12 June. A mountain bike was stolen.

“Anyone with any information can call police on 101, quoting 2600184024, or you can send a direct message on Facebook or X, or contact police online.
