People interested in a career with Gwent Police are being invited to a recruitment event at the force’s headquarters in Cwmbran this September.
The ‘More Than a Job – A Career That Makes a Difference’ event takes place on Saturday 12 September from 10am to 1pm. Visitors will get the chance to learn about the wide range of roles available across the organisation.
Attendees will hear from senior officers and staff, who will give an overview of the work Gwent Police carries out and the part each role plays across the county.
The event will outline routes into positions including police officer, police community support officer (PCSO), special constable and police staff roles that support frontline policing.
Several departmental stands will be available for visitors to explore, offering the opportunity to speak directly with teams from across the organisation. Representatives will be on hand to answer questions and give first‑hand insight into what it is like to work for Gwent Police.
