A new comedy night in Cwmbran was such an “amazing success” that it’s going to be a monthly event.
The Blinkin’ Owl pub in Coed Eva hosted its first event on Thursday 27 August with a packed line-up of six comedians.
David Guy, the Blinkin’ Owl landlord, said: “The night was an amazing success. All the comedians were on their game. We are really excited to be introducing a comedy night every last Thursday of the month.”
The next event – organised by promoters Road Test Comedy – is booked in for Thursday 24 September, with another strong line-up of performers bringing brand-new material to the stage.
The night will be MC’d by Ian Clarke, with Tommy Smith headlining. The bill also features Richy Moggz, Nick Cueto, Gilly Webb, Danny More and Sean Phelan.
Tickets are £2, and seating is unreserved, so organisers recommend arriving early to get a good spot.
