This was the Strava map that recorded a man’s 26.2 mile run around his estate. Matthew Potter’s repetitive run saw him lap the 0.16 mile route around Oakfield Grange 164 times.
The 44-year-old was joined by Amy, his 14-year-old daughter, who took part on her bike.
He came up with the idea of the challenge as part of his daily exercise to raise money for NHS workers. A sponsorship target of £100 was set and he invited his neighbours, family and friends to donate.
The pair started on Monday morning and crossed the finish line outside their front door in 5 hours 15 min 14 secs. It became a family event towards the end with Ellie, his seven-year-old daughter cycling the last mile, and Sharon, his wife, running the last four miles.
It was such a success the final total raised by the family was £270.
