Staff at Cwmbran High School wanted to do something different for pupils to celebrate the end of term before they broke up for the summer holidays.
This led to the creation of ‘Bran Fest’- two-days of fun events held across the school site.
Teachers organised a disco tent, inflatables, an escape room, exotic animals, an ice cream van, face painting and more.
Cwmbran Life went along and filmed a couple of videos. The disco tent was a pop-up nightclub where clubbers (pupils) chose their own songs all night-long (well until the home time bell rang at 3pm).
One teacher said: “They’re singing, they’re dancing, they’re screaming. Just living their very best lives”.
