A group of military enthusiasts are holding an event in Cwmbran where they will talk about the role of a commando unit during D-Day and set up a camp.

Members of the public are welcome to attend and find out more about the history of the unit and the kit they used.

The P Commando RN Re-enactment Group and the Blaen Bran Community Woodland group have teamed up to organise the event that is taking place on Saturday 17 June from 10am to 3pm.

Visitors can see them set up a camp, learn about the role the P Commandos played on D-Day and watch weapons being fired.
