Cwmbran boxer Ashley Brace, who will make history when she represents Wales at Glasgow 2014, is holding an open-air sparring session in Cwmbran.
Ashley Brace boxes for Torfaen Warriors ABC who are based in Llanyrafon. She is one of the first three women to pull on a Welsh vest at the Commonwealth Games.
Fundraising Day at the Six in Hand pub
A ring is being set up outside the Six In Hand pub tomorrow- Sunday 6 July- as part of a fund-raising day to support Ashley. She will train in the open-air from 12pm and spar and be put through her paces to show the skills and fitness needed to box at this level. Other boxing clubs are bringing their boxers to take part.
Robbie Regan and Jamie Arthur will be coming along. Chris Jenkins, who won PrizeFighter last year, is also at the event.
No-One Knows to support Ashely Brace
Cwmbran band No One Knows are among the bands who are performing tomorrow at the Six In Hand. Throughout the afternoon live bands will put on a show to encourage people to donate.

Simon Weaver, coach at Torfaen Warriors ABC, said: “We want people to come out and support Ashley . She doesn’t get any funding so this is a chance to watch what she has to put herself through to complete on this world-stage. We will have raffles and other things on sale to raise some money.
