A Cwmbran football team won a seven-a-side tournament on the weekend.

The ladies team at Lucas Cwmbran AFC took part in the Tredegar Town AFC Summer Female Festival 23.

In the tournament heats they won six games and drew one. This set them up for the final against Penclawdd AFC who they beat 2-0.
