A footbridge over the Afon Lwyd in Cwmbran will close for eight days for resurfacing work.
The bridge is used by walkers to cross the river from the car park at the Olive Tree to Woodland Road Sports and Social Club. A Torfaen Council notice has been placed on nearby lamposts and includes an alternative detour along Woodland Road and Edlogan Way.
The work starts on 23 October and the bridge will reopen on 31 October.
