The rugby development officer for Cwmbran High School has a new job with top Australian team, the ACT Brumbies.

Callum Redman shared a post on social media about his move to Canberra-based outfit and said: “A huge thank you to everyone at Cwmbran High for an incredible three years. I’m grateful for the memories we’ve created together, working with incredible pupils, parents and staff. Excited to announce my next chapter as a Rugby Development Officer for ACT Brumbies.”

Matt Sims, headteacher of Cwmbran High School, told Cwmbran Life: “Callum epitomises the values of our school, the community and the clubs and teams he champions. Callum has developed into a highly valued ambassador for grassroots rugby and sport.

“He is deserving of a key role and will flourish as a development officer with an Australian professional rugby union team. One day, who knows, he may be our national coach. Good luck Callum.”
