Cwmbran Shopping was packed with 1000s of people to watch the Christmas lights get turned on tonight. Robbie Kennedy and Big Mac’s Wholly Soul Band were two of the cracking acts on stage.
Robbie entertained shoppers with Iris- the song he impressed Simon Cowell and the other judges with on Britain’s Got Talent in 2013. The video of this has got 2.7million watches on YouTube.
The lights were flicked on at 6pm following a 10…9…8…countdown and fireworks and confetti bombs exploded over the crowd followed by fake snow to get everyone in the Christmas mood.
