Pontnewydd Ladies Choir are holding an open evening for new members.

The choir are inviting women to come to St. Mary’s Church Hall, Croesyceiliog, on Tuesday 12 December  between 6.30pm and 8pm. Everyone is welcome to join in with the singing and have a cup of tea and biscuits.

A spokesperson for the choir said: “Have you ever thought about joining a choir but didn’t know what to expect? Now is your chance. Singing can be good for you on many levels. It can help lower stress, boost immunity and lung function and enhance your memory.”
