There will be a dog show held at this year’s Henllys fete.

The dog show will take place on Saturday 8 July with judging starting at 2.30pm. The price to enter a category is a minimum donation of £2 with all proceeds going to a canine charity.

The categories include:

• Cool puppy, any dog between 6-12 months old

• Most handsome male dog over 12 months

• Best female over 12 months

• Best trick

• Dog with the waggiest tail

• Dog that looks the most like its owner, with no dressing up allowed!

• Dog the judge would most like to take home

• Best fancy dress, the dog must be comfortable and free to move

• Best 6 legs, a category for owner and dog

• Best in show, for all dogs entered
