Looking for a job or training opportunities? A jobs fair is being held in Cwmbran’s Congress Theatre during September.
It’s on Tuesday 10 September from 10am to 1pm. A range of local employers who have vacancies will be at the event to meet and chat to potential employees.
If you want advice about finding work or retraining you can meet staff from the council’s Torfaen Works team who can help you. Some of the services they offer include:
- CV writing, interview practice and searching for a job
- Information about the local jobs market and job matching
- Grants for training costs
- Training including maths, English and computer skills
- Information, advice and guidance to help shape your career and skills plan
