Around £550 of bamboo fencing has been stolen from the grounds of Blenheim Road Primary School.
Staff were planning to fit the sheets along the inside of the perimeter fence to give children more privacy. Approximately seven large bags were taken from the top field on Wednesday 13 August 2025.
A Gwent Police spokesperson said: “We received a report of a theft of fencing materials from Blenheim Community Primary School on Wednesday 13 August.
“It’s reported to have happened between 7.30pm and 7.45pm on Sunday 10 August.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact us on 101, or by direct message on social media, quoting log reference 2500258856.”
A staff member said the thieves entered the school grounds at around 5.45pm to move the bags against the fence, before returning to take them.
