Walkers who reach the top of Twmbarlwm on Good Friday will be rewarded with a hot cross bun.

The Cymdeithas Twmbarlwm Society organise this traditional walk to Twmbarlwm every year. The society members will leave on Friday 7 April 2023 at 10.30am from Stony Bridge, Fields Road, Risca. The Friends of Cwmcarn Forest Drive and Islwyn Ramblers will leave the visitor centre at 9.30am.

The plan is to meet at the summit at 12.30pm for a hot cross bun.

For those of us on the Cwmbran side of the hill we can walk up from Henllys and across Myndd Maen.
