A ‘zombie-horror’ satire that had many of its scenes shot in Cwmbran can now be watched if you have a Channel 4+ subscription.

The cast and crew of Generation Z spent weeks in and arond Cwmbran filming during September and October 2023.

Locations including Fairwater Shops, the field by the White Hut in Coed Eva, and a house in Farlays. They were also spotted in Llanyrafon, Pontypool and Ponthir.

Shops in Fairwater had their signs changed to include the fictional town of Dambury. The CoStar Hwb became the Dambury Town Hall and Frankins Hardware store was The Old Curiosity Shop.

The show will be aired on Channel 4 at 9pm on Sunday 27 October. But if you’re a Channel 4+ subscriber you can watch it now.
