Happy 50th birthday to Greenmeadow Primary School! Staff and teachers have held lots of fun events to mark the special anniversary. In October, they planted an oak tree in the grounds.
For another event, pupils and staff wore 1970s-themed outfits to school.
Claire Moses, the school’s headteacher said: “Over the years, many pupils, staff, families, and governors have played a big part in the life of the school.
“The school, therefore, wanted to mark the occasion by inviting past and present members of staff and governors to an afterschool celebration in which the year six members of the Learning Squad delivered a presentation, welcoming the guests, sharing poignant moments of the school’s history and showcasing the work completed by each class based around 1970s music, technology, art and fashion.”
