A number of Remembrance Sunday parades are taking place tomorrow, 13 November 2022.

BLAENAVON

10.40am Parade from the Top Car Park, marching via Broad Street and Ivor Street to the Cenotaph.

11.00am Wreath laying and service at the Cenotaph.

CWMBRAN

10.30am Parade assembles in car park at the rear of Natale’s Barbers & Son off Wesley Street.

10.35am Parade will form up on Wesley Road. Parade will move off down Wesley Road onto Cocker Avenue, halting at the lights before Henllys Way Parade will fall out for marchers to enter the Cwmbran Park.

10.50am Service of Remembrance at Cwmbran Park.

11.15am Parade will reform up on Cocker Avenue, returning to Wesley Road

NEW INN

10am Parade assembles at St Mary’s Church Hall, The Highway, New Inn.

10.10am Parade moves off to St Mary’s Church.

10.30am Church Service at St Mary’s.

11.20am Parade returns to St Mary’s Church Hall.

PONTNEWYDD

10.15am Parade assembles.

10.30am Parade from Pontnewydd Royal British Legion Club, Station Road, Pontnewydd for wreath-laying ceremony and service at the Cenotaph. A two-minute silence will be observed at 1am.

PONTYPOOL

11.45am Parade assembles on Commercial Street, Pontypool Town Centre.

12pm Parade moves from assembly point to Memorial Gates, Pontypool for service and wreath-laying ceremony; return via Clarence Roundabout.

Road closures will be in operation for a period of 30 minutes before and after the parades finish.
