Organisers are making final preparations for the 2023 Cwmbran Big Event with 1000s of people set to enjoy an afternoon of fun.

The annual event runs from 12pm to 5pm at Cwmbran Boating Lake on Saturday 10 June 2023. Visitors can watch volunteers from the Severn Area Rescue Association carry out a rescue demonstration on the lake.

Animal sanctuary All Creatures Great and Small is organising a fun dog show so bring your four-legged friend and enter.

The main stage will feature live acts throughout the afternoon including music from No One Know and Moonstorm. Local dance groups, choirs and bands will all perform to the crowd.

Around the main field will be a variety of craft and food stalls along with lots of free children’s activities including inflatables, face painting and craft activities.
