Welsh boxing world champion Lauren Price will defend her unified World Welterweight Titles against Michaela Kotaskova on Friday 20 November at Utilita Arena in Cardiff.
Trainer Gary Lockett, who grew up in Cwmbran, will be in the corner for the bill’s two main undercard fights. Lockett trains Rhys Edwards, who will fight Scotland’s former British, Commonwealth and European champion Lee McGregor in a showdown for the WBA Continental Featherweight Title. Lockett also trains unbeaten middleweight Kyran Jones, who is taking on Liverpool’s Sean Arkwright.
Price, from Ystrad Mynach, said in a social media post, said: “Call or message my ticket phone: 07919 711240. If you’re coming to support me, please get your tickets through me directly. Every bit of support means the world – this is the start of building my legacy to those big stadium fights.”
The show is being promoted by Boxxer, who are working with the BBC to screen the show live and free-to-air on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.

BOXXER Founder & CEO Ben Shalom said: “Lauren Price is one of the biggest names in British boxing and there is something special about seeing her fight at home in Wales. She has already created some incredible moments in Cardiff and we’re delighted to bring her back for another major world title night, live and free-to-air on the BBC.”
Price said: “There’s nothing better than fighting at home in Wales. The atmosphere in Cardiff is always incredible and I can’t wait to walk out in front of my home fans again.
“I’ve worked incredibly hard to get to this position and I’m not giving anything up. Kotaskova is a tough, experienced opponent who has competed at world level, but I believe I’m the best welterweight on the planet and on November 20 I’m going to show it. I want to put on a big performance and give everyone in Wales another night to remember.”
Kotaskova, the current WBF titleholder, has lost once in 15 fights, a points decision against current unified world champion Chantelle Cameron.
