Cwmbran is home to a brilliant scheme that helps residents of Torfaen decorate their homes at cheap prices. I popped along and chatted to Lynne Howles, who works at CoStar where Community Repaint is based. Listen to this audioboo where she explains how you can get top quality paint for just £1.50 a litre.

The scheme is part of the Community Repaint project sponsored by Dulux paint. You just go along to the Threepenny Bit centre in Deerbrook, Greenmeadow from Monday to Thursday 10am to 2pm.

It was great to hear that Cwmbran Wilkinsons have got involved and often pass on old stock that is returned or damaged but still perfectly good to use. The CoStar team hope to get more local shops supporting the project.
