US band Lunar Vacation are coming across the pond to play their new album, “Everything Matters, Everything’s Fire” on a UK tour.
The indie rock band, from Atlanta, Georgia formed in 2016, and released their first EP, Swell, in 2017.
Their current most popular song came from this album, with the opening track Blue Honey amassing over 11 million listens. Their music holds a brilliant sense of melancholy with the lyrics and melodies working together perfectly to show sadness and hope.
Guitarist and vocalist Maggie Geeslin said: “Our last album was super produced, manicured. This one’s organic. We embraced mistakes; it made the work even better.”
Their Wales gig will be held at the iconic Clwb Ifor Bach on Monday, 26 May. This venue has been at the heart of Cardiff’s creative scene since 1983, with weekly concerts across a range of genres.
