M&S is opening a foodhall branch in Cwmbran- opposite where its large store closed last year

An M&S Foodhall is opening in Cwmbran.

The new store will be inside WHSmiths in the town centre. Signs have appeared on the windows and work has already started. The foodhall will take up an area of the WHSmiths store on the right of the entrance in South Walk- directly opposite where M&S used to have a large store.

Large hoardings have appeared to block off the area for shopfitters to work. A poster in the window shows that WMSmiths has applied for alcohol to be sold.
