A planning application for a vacant former tailors in Cwmbran town centre to become a tattoo parlour has been approved.

L & C Investments Limited, the owners of the town centre, applied to Torfaen Council for permission to change the use of the unit.

It’s the unit at 29 The Parade. There were no objections to the application but the council advised the applicant to contact the food and protection team if they plan to “operate a skin piercing or tattooing businesses, including acupuncture, ear piercing and electrolysis (whether from premises or mobile)” to apply for the correct licence.

No alterations are proposed to the outside of the building.
