This blog has already featured a few posts from Friday night’s charity dinner at Greenmeadow golf club. Here are some more photos and a video of the top table arriving at their seats.
The guest speaker was Kingsley Jones, who won ten caps for Wales, including one as captain, in the mid 1990s. He is now the Russia rugby team coach and a regular pundit on BBC’s Scrum V.
The event was organised by the Welsh Charitables RFC and the Mayor of Torfaen.
Money raised from the event will be shared between the Mayor’s three charities, Cancer Research Wales, Torfaen Tenovus Mobile Cancer Support Unit and Torfaen and District Multiple Sclerosis Society along with the Welsh Charitables’ five charities, St Anne’s Hospice, Welsh Rugby Former International Players Benevolent Association, Ty Hafan the family hospice for young lives, the Prince’s Trust Cymru and St David’s Foundation Hospice.
