A Picnic in the Park event is being held to raise money for Sparkle, the Gwent charity which supports children with disabilities and developmental difficulties and their families.
The family fun day event is on Sunday 8 September from 10am to 2pm at Serennu Children’s Centre in Rogerstone.

Organisers said: “Discover a treasure trove of local crafts, enjoy delicious homemade treats, and experience some wonderful entertainment while browsing a variety of stalls at our upcoming picnic in the park event!”
The event includes live entertainment, mascots, crafts and cakes.
