Torfaen Council has approved plans for the new signs on the cafe bar due to open in Cwmbran town centre in December.

Loungers UK Ltd submitted a planning application to show what the signage will look like at their Carro Lounge in the former Square Inn pub next to the Congress Theatre. The company has had approval for the fascia signs, menu board and branded awning.

The fascia sign next to the entrance door will be a gentian blue colour and lit with a ‘soft, warm white’ illumination. A menu board is due to be installed on the entrance inside the shopfront and ‘have a gold finish with laminated glass’ and LED lights to light it up.

The Carro Lounge fascia sign on the upper floor of the building will be made up of ‘individual light boxes with black framing’ and illuminated.
