“I think people love it because all abilities can play. I think that’s what’s special about our sport, people don’t feel intimidated to come. They can have fun. They can have a laugh. They can enjoy it with their friends and there’s not many sports you can bring your partner or your sibling and play altogether, so it’s a really special sport because of that.”
Over 20 people turned up to try a free rounders taster session this evening at a new league being set up in Cwmbran. This was the second out of three sessions, with the final one next week (Tuesday 26 May) at the new 3G pitch at Cwmbran High School from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
It’s 16+ and open to men and women. After the last session, the organisers MyRounders plan to start the league fixtures.
