Gwent Police are appealing for information after a fatal car crash in Cwmbran.

Officers attended a collision in Cwmbran Drive involving a car and a lorry, where the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. It happened at around 9.55am on Tuesday 19 September.

The driver of the car, a 45-year-old man from the Cwmbran area, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The passenger of the car, a 45-year-old man from the Pontypool area, was taken to hospital for treatment. Anyone with information, including motorists who were travelling along Cwmbran Drive between 9.45am and 10am or those with dashcam or CCTV, is asked to contact Gwent Police.
