A series of parades and services will take place across Torfaen on Sunday 12 November to mark Remembrance Sunday.
Torfaen Council’s Armed Forces Champion, Councillor Gaynor James, said: “Remembrance Sunday is a solemn occasion to reflect on the bravery and dedication of those who have fought to protect our freedoms and way of life. We owe it to them to honour their memory and to continue to strive for peace and justice in the world. It is also a time to express gratitude to the emergency services personnel who put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe.”
Road closures will be in force for a period of 30 minutes before and after the parades finish.
