The second afternoon tea event in Henllys to bring together people aged 50 and over takes place this week.

Henllys Community Council is funding the fortnightly event that started on Friday 29 September. The plan is to run it for a few months, then see how members want to see it continue and develop. Councillors at this week’s meeting heard the first event was a success with over 25 people turning up. The aim is to bring people out of their homes and encourage outside organisations and maybe speakers to attend. The next event is on Friday 13 October from 2pm.
