Cwmbran High School PE teacher Dean Merrett had his head shaved to raise money for the year nine boys’ football team trip to play in the Welsh Schools FA Cup Final.

Pupils paid £1 to watch him have his hair cut in the leisure centre’s sports hall. The side will head to Oswestry on Saturday 10 May and take on Flint High School.
