Make sure you watch ITV’s The Chase this Thursday 3 September at 5pm to watch Cwmbran man Martin Phillips pit his wits agains TV’s most ruthless quiz genius.
The Chase involves contestants teaming up against one of The Chasers who is determined to stop them winning the cash prize.
The 43-year-old former Fairwater Comprehensive School pupil now runs his own business, Red 90 video production.
He told Cwmbran Life: “I had a great day filming. The team behind the scenes made all of the contestants feel at ease – but it was weird standing on the set that you’ve seen so many times on TV. I can tell you for a fact that it is much harder standing under the lights than it is shouting answers at the screen at home.”
