Three cats have been killed in the Fairwater area after being poisoned by antifreeze.
The pets all lived in and around Neyland Path. One family found their two-year-old cat ‘paralysed’ last Friday afternoon. They rushed him to the vet but he had to be put down on Saturday.
Many houses in the area now have this poster in the window that were picked up from Fairwater Vets. They have also been put up in local bus stops, shops and phone boxes.
Locals would like people to check their sheds and garages for any bottles of antifreeze that may have spilt over. Vets says antifreeze is appealing to animals because of its sweet taste.
