A Cwmbran football club’s tractor was stolen on Friday 31 May.
The brand-new tractor was taken from a container at Lucas Girling AFC’s ground in Croesyceiliog
A club spokesperson said on Facebook: “Unfortunately, some thieves have broken into our trailer and stolen our brand-new powered tractor. Our changing rooms [are] located by the pitch at the end of Northfields so was likely accessed via the car park just off Edlogan Way, by Goode’s and The Olive Tree, NP44 2JJ.”
A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: “We received a report of a burglary from a container on Edlogan Way, Croesyceiliog, Cwmbran, on Friday 31 May.
“An unknown offender is believed to have forced entry to a container and taken a tractor, sometime between 5pm on Saturday 25 May and 4.20pm on Friday 31 May.
“The tractor is described as a red-coloured Cobra LT102-HR2 model with black seats and black rubber tyres.
“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information, including relevant CCTV or dashcam footage that could help us, can call 101 or DM us on social media, quoting log 2400178013
