Students from Coleg Gwent are being asked to take part in a public art competition- with the winners having their work put on display on a huge space in Cwmbran town centre.
L&C, the owners of Cwmbran town centre, is working with the college to encourage young artists, designers, and photographers to submit ideas for large murals.
The students will create ideas for murals at A3 or A2 size and submit them for judging.
The chosen concepts will then be enlarged, professionally printed, and installed on the space above Iceland and Peacocks in Monmouth Square.
Students are being asked to “incorporate bright colours and include themes associated
with Cwmbran and the local community”
All of the entries will be displayed in a public exhibition.
