Tributes have been paid to Conner Tubb, a Llanyrafon FC footballer who passed away earlier this month.
The 27-year-old moved from Taunton to the area last year and bought a house in Edlogan Wharf with his partner Lavinia Morris, 26.
Lavinia, a public sector worker, has worked with Llanyrafon FC to organise a memorial match and mental health awareness event on Sunday 27 April.
He previously played for Chard Town FC and the club held a minute’s applause before the match against Ilminster Town FC on Saturday12 April.

The pair met just over three years ago. She said he was “quite a shy person, sociable once he knew the person. He was loving, caring and did anything for anyone.”

The telecoms engineer joined the football team after getting to know friends of Lavinia’s sister’s boyfriend.
She said: “He couldn’t keep still. He loved playing football.”
They’ve invited two mental health charities, including Andy’s Man Club, to the match between “family and friends” and Llanyrafon FC. The game will kick off at 1.30pm and following the final whistle, there will be a talk from the charities in Llanyrafon Social Club.
She added: “It will be really important to have that talk with the boys.”
Conner passed away on 4 April.
Tribute to Conner Tubb from Llanyrafon FC
Chris Jennings said: “Conner was one of the best teammates you could have, he would always give 110% on the pitch, he also had the talent to go with it.
“He really was an outstanding player. Conner was only at the club for a short period of time but fitted in straight away with all the lads. You will always be a Llanyravon player and will be truly missed by everyone at the club.”

Jordan Ross said: “Conner had only recently been a player at Llanyrafon but soon as he came in it was like he’d been there for years. Everyone got along with Conner. He was such a good guy to be around, would always have a laugh and joke with you and always smiling.
“Conner was an outstanding player who gave 100% in training and in matches. I will never forget his face when we told him we had to put our own nets and corner flags up 😅.
“On the 27 April we come together not just as a team but as a family to help raise awareness of men’s mental health and show how much he was loved by everyone around him and also raise as much money as possible to go to Andy Man’s Club in his memory.
“You will always be missed Con. RIP mate.”
