Gwent Police are appealing for witnesses following a violent incident in Cwmbran.

Officers were called to Oldbury Road at around 7.20pm on Friday 4 August.

A police spokesperson said: “Officers attended and seven people, five men and two women, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and violent disorder. All remain in custody at this time and enquiries are ongoing. We’re appealing for witnesses to assist our investigation.
